Hamel and Lott Win Clue RoadRally

April 18, 2016

Masters of detection: Dan Hamel and Kerri Lott (in the photo below and driving a Jeep Liberty) emerged the winners on the St. Louis Region’s Clue RoadRally Sunday afternoon, March 13. The pair scored 99 out of a possible 100 points on the 60-mile gimmick rally based on the familiar board game. This was just the second road rally for the St. Charles, Mo., team. In their first event Nov. 22, they finished fifth on the St. Louis Region’s Great Pumpkin Challenge. Finishing second and third behind Hamel and Lott on Clue were Jim and Sandy Lynch (Mazda Miata, 96 points) and KC’s David and Aracely Tung (Subaru WRX, 90 points). The object of the March 13 road rally was to determine the suspect, location, and weapon used in the untimely and unfortunate demise of Mr. Nobody. For the record, the clues, as devised by rallymaster Ron Ferris, pointed to Miss Gold . in the pool house . with a knife. A messy affair, no doubt-in more ways than one.
