StL PDX Event also May 8

The 2010 Solo Performance St. Louis Region PDX Series A Precision Driving Experience (PDX) is an opportunity to work with an instructor and get practice in car handling and precision driving in your own car on the 1.6-mile road course at Gateway International Raceway. This is a non-competitive, un-timed event. Drivers are grouped by prior experience. For safety, drivers are required to wear a helmet, long sleeve shirt and long pants.

This event is an SCCA LEVEL 1 – PDX event in accordance with SCCA Time Trial Rules, which can be found at: Drivers will be assigned to the novice, intermediate or advanced groups based on prior driving experience and performance. All drivers will have assigned instructors. Depending upon a driver’s progress the day of the event, drivers may advance to another group, based on the recommendation or their instructor and the approval of the Chief Instructor.

When: Saturday, May 8, 2010 – 6:00AM Track, Registration & Tech Open – 8:00AM Mandatory Driver’s Meeting – 12:00PM Lunch (approximately) – 5:00PM Last Car Exits Course, Wrap-Up Meeting

Where: Gateway International Raceway 700 Raceway Blvd Madison, IL 62060 Cost: $225 per Driver for Full Day PDX $55 per Driver for “You Drive for $55” allows you to participate in the classroom session and have one session on track in your own car with an instructor $25 for “Ride-Along” allows you an opportunity to ride-along with one of our certified instructors. You get to pick the instructor/car. This fee includes the Weekend Membership. All drivers must be SCCA members. Weekend Memberships are available for $15 at the time of registration.
