Saturday, Nov. 23: The Great Pumpkin Thanksgiving GTA Tour–a Road Rally from the River to the Lodge

Registration is open online at MotorsportReg.com for the St. Louis Region’s Great Pumpkin Thanksgiving GTA Tour Nov. 23.

The Region’s last road rally for 2024, the Great Pumpkin GTA [for “Game, Tour, Adventure,” i.e., a non-timed gimmick rally] is a sign-hunt excursion from the National Great Rivers Museum at the Melvin Price Locks & Dam 26 in Alton, Ill., to the lodge at Pere Marquette State Park in Grafton, Ill. Expect a rally of about 50 miles and two hours duration, one that takes you from Alton up the Great River Road to Elsah, Ill., and then to Jersey County country roads before arriving at Pere Marquette.

Also, with the help of the National Great Rivers Museum and Alton’s Great Rivers and Routes Tourism Bureau, we have arranged for a group tour of the museum and the Melvin Price locks and dam before the start of the rally.
