Join us for the first Tire Rack Street Survival School of 2025 at Family Arena!  These one day schools are both informative and fun as they teach young drivers advanced driving skills and car control to avoid accidents.

Registration is open for Tulips & Other Spring Flowers April 12, the first of the St. Louis Region’s seven road rallies in 2025.

Designed with the new/occasional rally team in mind. Tulips & Other Spring Flowers is an evening (full moon) Monte-Carlo-style Touring road rally of about 60 miles. Expect paved roads, easy-to-follow tulip diagrams for route instructions, and checkpoint locations identified by official mileages and arrival times. Timing will be in minutes and seconds. After the rally, stick around to enjoy conversation and hospitality at our finish location, Schlafly’s Highland Square brewpub in Highland, Ill.

Tulips & Other Spring Flowers also is part of the St. Louis Region’s April 11–13 “Road Race EGGstravganza” road-racing weekend at World Wide Technology Raceway (WWTR) in Madison, Ill. In addition to SCCA Majors racing on Saturday and Sunday, as well as the SCCA’s Race Experience opportunity for drivers contemplating or seeking an SCCA competition license, the “EGGstravganza” includes a Friday test day for road-racing drivers and a PDE (Performance Driving Experience) for intermediate and advanced drivers.

On Saturday, Tulips & Other Spring Flowers will depart WWTR at the conclusion of the day’s racing.

About this event

A St. Louis Region, SCCA, Touring RoadRally and Social Event

Description: The GTA (Game/Tour/Adventure) road rally is approximately 60 miles.  It is organized under the rules for roadrallies established by the Sports Car Club of American (SCCA), as well as by the items outlined here. This rally is not a contest of speed but rather a fun social event, an exercise in simple route-following and answering questions from signage along the route  We have designed the event with the new/occasional rally team in mind. Expect paved St. Charles County, MO., roads, easy-to-follow pictures and route instructions. After the rally, stick around to enjoy conversation and hospitality at our finish location.

Start: Lewis and Clark Boat House and Museum at 1050 S Riverside Dr, St Charles, MO 63301.

Size of the field: We are limiting the field to 25 teams.

Entry fee: $30.00 per team for SCCA teams, $50.00 per team for nonmember teams. An SCCA team is defined as a team in which at least one participant is an SCCA member. The standard SCCA rules regarding Road Rallies will be observed. To wit: proof of valid driver’s license and current auto insurance, vehicle inspection (self-inspection by the rally team), and signing of applicable SCCA forms.

All participants will be required to read and sign the standard SCCA waiver before being allowed to participate in this event. The signing of the SCCA’s “Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement” is a precondition to participating in any SCCA event. Any adult, age 18 or older, must sign the waiver.

Minor Participants: A Minor taking part in this event must have an Annual Minor Waiver on file with the SCCA for the current calendar year, i.e., 2025.

The Age of Majority is 18 years except in Alabama and Nebraska, where it is, 19 and Mississippi, where it is 21.

The Annual Minor Waiver will be issued to the Minor by the SCCA National Office. For more information about this process, click on the following document and see the section “Minor Annual Waivers”: Digital Annual Waiver 12-01-2021.pdf.

Before obtaining an “Annual Waiver Minor” for a child, nonmember parents/guardians, as well as the minor in question, must obtain an SCCA Guest Account.

A St. Louis Region, SCCA, Touring RoadRally and Social Evening

Description: Tulips Redux 2025 is an evening Monte-Carlo-style Touring Road Rally and social event of about 60 miles. It is similar to this year’s Tulips & Other Spring Flowers and 2023’s Tulips by Night and Tulips Redux Road Rallies. We have designed the event with the new/occasional rally team in mind. Expect paved Madison County, Ill., roads, easy-to-follow tulip diagrams for route instructions, and checkpoint locations identified by official mileages and arrival times. Timing will be in minutes and seconds, with checkpoint arrival times calculated to whole minutes. After the rally, stick around to enjoy conversation and hospitality at our finish location.

Start: Troy Park & Ride, 809 S. Main Street, Troy, IL 62294.

Finish: Vitale’s Hideaway on historic Route 66 (today, Illinois 4) outside Staunton, Ill. Vitale’s Hideaway has been a stop at Route 66 and the Worden Y since Route 66 was established in the 1920s. A popular nightspot and dance hall in the 1930s, today it serves as a neighborhood bar and grill, one that recently was featured on the TV reality show Bar Rescue.

Size of the field: We are limiting the field to 25 teams.

• A happy inclination to take an evening drive

Entry fee: $30.00 per team for SCCA teams, $50.00 per team for nonmember teams. An SCCA team is defined as a team in which at least one participant is an SCCA member. Good things to know–timing and scoring: Tulips Redux 2025 is an SCCA Road Rally during which you will be timed at several locations along the rally route. As indicated above, we will use the Richta Rally GPS Checkpoint System for timing and scoring. To compete, each participating team must have a smartphone or tablet with active data cellular service (no airplane mode and no wi-fi only devices) with the Richta Competitor App installed. The app will report your arrival time and leg score to your cellphone or tablet moments after you pass each GPS checkpoint location. To download the app, search for Competitor Richta or Richta GPS Competitor App  at Google Play or in Apple’s App Store.  Registration is open for An Afternoon Wasted in Tribute to Tom Lehrer, a simple course-following Gimmick (GTA) sign hunt inspired by the works of legendary satirical singer/songwriter Tom Lehrer, who passed away in July. Join us and enjoy a Sunday afternoon tour of Jefferson County’s rural roads while seeking to answer questions along the route based on the signs you see.

Start: Mastodon State Historic Site, 1050 Charles J Becker Dr, Imperial, MO 63052.

Size of the field: We are limiting the field to 20 teams. While each team must include a driver and navigator, your team is welcome to include as many participants as can safely be carried in the car (which is determined by the number of seat belts).

About Mastodon State Historic Site: Mastodon State Historic Site is the location of the Kimmswick Bone Bed, where scientists discovered the first solid evidence of the coexistence of humans and the American mastodon in eastern North America. Visitors can enjoy learning about the discovery and prehistoric Missouri at the museum, which features an interpretive video, ancient artifacts and fossils, and a mastodon skeleton replica. The museum is open noon to 4 p.m. on November 23; entry is free for visitors 12 and under, and $4/person for ages 13 and up.
