Due to a date conflict with Family Arena, the October 20th date has been removed from our 2024 schedule of events. However, not all is lost. The date has been replaced with August 11th and an additional date added of November 10th. See the Autocross page for a complete list of future events.

Expect a rally of about 50 miles and two hours duration, one that takes you from Alton up the Great River Road to Elsah, Ill., and then to Jersey County country roads before arriving at Pere Marquette. Also, with the help of the National Great Rivers Museum and Alton’s Great Rivers and Routes Tourism Bureau, we have arranged for a group tour of the museum and the Melvin Price locks and dam before the start of the rally. What is SCCA?

The Sports Car Club of America is a non-profit American automobile club and sanctioning body supporting road racing, rallying, and autocross in the United States. Formed in 1944, it runs many programs for both amateur and professional racers.

STL RoadRally Rally School 2024 Series Mark your calendars. Because of a renewed post-pandemic interest in road-rallying, the St. Louis Region will host a Saturday rally-school series in 2024. Designed to impart the basics of road-rallying to a new generation—or to refresh your skills if you’re familiar with the sport—Rally School 2024 will offer five events over five months. Expect a rally of about 50 miles and two hours duration, one that takes you from Alton up the Great River Road to Elsah, Ill., and then to Jersey County country roads before arriving at Pere Marquette. Also, with the help of the National Great Rivers Museum and Alton’s Great Rivers and Routes Tourism Bureau, we have arranged for a group tour of the museum and the Melvin Price locks and dam before the start of the rally. Date: Saturday, Nov. 23. Start: National Great Rivers Museum, Melvin Price Locks & Dam 26, Alton, Ill. Finish: the lodge at Pere Marquette State Park, Grafton, Ill.
